You'll enter the park in the early morning hours to beat the crowds and to scout for animals when they're at their most active you will meet your English-speaking guide and learn a little about the elephants. The guide also offers to share the natural and cultural history of elephants in Thailand as our place listed as Elephants in captivity are elephants kept in a confining area, such as a zoo, circus, or camp, where they are fed and cared for by humans and usually exhibited for entertainment or educational purposes. Most captive elephants are taken from the wild, as they breed poorly in captivity.
We encourage our elephants to relax and behave naturally - you won't see any circus shows, no riding, no cruelty, and for everyone's comfort and safety.
Walk with your guide through the sanctuary to watch and discovering free-roaming elephants in safe, sustainable and ethical environment, and hearing their individual stories.
Along with the well-known sanctuaries and projects are exciting initiatives which allow elephants to walk and forage naturally in the forest and socialize with each other, without the pain of carrying tourists. It is both enjoyable and educational to watch elephants enjoy their day their way. Camp transformations bring hope for the future of elephant tourism; to keep elephants healthy, safe and happy for the rest of their lives, to help protection of the species, whilst continuing to provide a sustainable livelihood for the camp owner, the mahout and their family.
You will take a break midday enjoy eating some snacks and seasonal fresh fruits. You cab take a dip in the water and swim. After you're done at the Sanctuary you can relax in the impressive rural scenery before driving back to your hotel.
